I purchased my Visante Anterior Segment OCT in the version 1.0 in September 2006. I recall talking to my mentor Roger F. Steinert, MD prior to the purchase and asking his advise prior to the major capital purchase. His positive remarks are still with me and I have not looked back since. His excitement is visible through his great book published by Slack Books. My excitement remains in full spark as well. I have been involved with Carl Zeiss Meditec, Dublin, CA from the beta testing of the 2.0 software to later beta testing of the 3.0 along with many lectures that I delivered at their request.

I have found great use for the Visante an all aspects of my practice, including cornea, refractive, glaucoma, and cataract evaluations. I am pleased to create this website to share the excitement with my fellow eye care specialists that seek to learn more about the anterior segment OCT and its applications to daily practice.
